I just had to blog about,my gorgeous, fluffy friend Lola. lola is a 6 month old Labradoodle puppy and a very sensitive and sweet little girl.
We all noticed that she is very aware of energies when we are healing, reading etc but last night she did something that took me completely by suprise.
I suffer with neurological nerve pain from damage. Most of the time I can keep it at a dull roar with heavy meds but every now and again it becomes unbearable and painkillers cant control it. Its a symptom of my having Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, M.E (also known as chronic fatigue syndrome).
Last night the pain became agonizing. A few times a week it can get like this with a burning vice like pain running from my lower back down both legs. Dad, who is a certified spiritual healer, came up stairs and did some spiritual healing for me but it wasnt really shifting the pain. Lola is somehow aware that she needs to be gentle with me and she is ever so considerate around me. Last night she could hear me crying out and came up stairs. She came into my room and gentley got on the bed and very slowly and purposfully laid her head on my thigh keeping her weight off me. I thought 'how incredibley sweet'. I wondered what on earth she was doing as this is a dog who, having decided to lay down, will just throw herself down. Watching her very slowly laying her head over my thigh seemed very odd. She stayed like that for a few minutes and my Mum and I remarked on her strange behaviour.
Suddenly she got up and pottered off. As she did something amazing happened. I realised the pain in my leg was completely gone. I was now feeling a sensation like cool water pouring through my leg putting out the fire of the pain. It was incredible. I looked over at Mum and I was speechless. When I found my words again I told her the pain was gone. She couldnt believe it either. What a clever little puppy!
It would seem we have a hairy healer in the family! Yay! Maybe she will make an awesome familiar to work with? Either way, my puppy is awesome. Lol!
